Most productivity systems fail for the same reason: they need more upkeep than the problem they were solving. The system becomes the second job. What survives a busy week is smaller than that — three steps, not thirty fields.
Capture
Whatever crosses your attention — a request, an idea, a thing you said you'd do — goes to one place immediately. Not sorted, not prioritised. Just out of your head and onto the page.
Choose
Once a day, look at what landed and choose one of three things for each: do it now, put a date on it, or let it go. The choosing is the only part that takes judgment. Everything else is mechanical.
Close
Mark it done and remove it from view. A list that never empties stops feeling useful — closing is what makes the loop worth repeating tomorrow.
None of this needs an app built for it. A page, a habit and the discipline to do all three every day is the whole system.
